Our Mission is to contribute to the intellectual, social, cultural, and infrastructural development of the University of The Bahamas AND the communities where we live.

Established in 2021, we are the first international chapter of UB’s Alumni Association. However, we join trailblazers like the Grand Bahama Chapter and others in the network. 2022 Primary Goals: Fundraise to support UB’s technology needs, Increase chapter membership, and expand the chapter’s presence and impact in Atlanta and The Bahamas through community engagement.

Kirk Johnson “Mr. Matters of the Heart” is a leadership coach and educator at Georgia State University. He has a decade plus of broadcasting, relationship building, and program development experience.

Charlene Johnson is an adept foreign services officer with The Bahamas Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She serves as Vice Consul and Head of Chancery at The Bahamas Consulate General in Atlanta.

Felicity Darville is an award-winning journalist, entrepreneur, and media professional with 25 years experience in mass communication. She is the Tribune columnist for “Face to Face with Felicity.”

Dr. Shaneeta Johnson is an accomplished Associate Professor of Surgery, Director of Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery, and Residency Associate Program Director at Morehouse School of Medicine.
